- Review timeline
- Annual review period runs July 1 to June 30. Applications are accepted only through July 31, posted publicly by August 15, and decided by April 30 of the review period.
- Moratoria
- Except as the CON chapter allows, comprehensive care beds may not be added or transferred, new comprehensive care facilities may not be built, and Medicaid certification of comprehensive care beds may not be added or transferred (IC 16-29-7-10). A CON may not be granted where the receiving county's comprehensive care occupancy is below 85% or would drop below 85%.
- Recent changes
- This nursing-home-only CON program took effect July 1, 2019 under Senate Enrolled Act 190 (2018, P.L. 202-2018). Indiana has no CON review for hospitals or other services.
